Drinking Chocolate Handies
No powder or excessive amounts of sugar here! Just real chocolate made for melting with whole milk and CREAM.
How we like it:
We take 6 handies with 180ml of whole milk and 20ml of double cream to create a rich drinking chocolate that’s not too sweet and is to be sipped.
Here’s a play by play:
Take a splash of milk and warm in a pan along with 6 handies and stir with your utensil of choice. I like to use a silicone pastry brush as it breaks up the chocolate better!
Once you have formed a silky ganache, add the rest of the milk and cream and heat to your desired temperature but don’t boil it! Then pour it intio some sort of liquid containment vessel… We recommend a mug.
“Buh, buh, but Mr Heist Man, what’s a handy?” I hear you say! Well I declare that from this moment on, any 6g chunk of chocolate be named a handy because it sounds cute and because it’s mighty handy for making drinking chocolate! Pow, Pow, Pow!
